New Opportunities for Women, Inc. is a navigational health care organization in Baltimore, Maryland that focuses on women, AIDS testing, and prevention, and offers comprehensive nonprofit human and social services throughout the State. We have highly qualified, dedicated staff, and some trained by the Steve Harvey Business Acceleration Institute.
Our agency was founded by women who aim to empower women. As an inclusive organization, we welcome and service people of all ages, genders and the LGBT community.
Our mission is to provide navigational health care and human services programs that prevent the spread of AIDS and meet the basic needs for the longevity of life, economic sufficiency, independent living, mental health, and competence. We aim to make people feel the support of a caring community organization in ways that count to them.We envision a community in which each person is able to achieve their highest quality of life and well-being.
As a nonprofit, we are striving to earn funds so we can provide these services to the community for free. Additionally, we are aiming to purchase a mobile medical van where we can provide services on the go such as handing out condoms and other protective measures to people in the community who cannot make it to our center.
