Thanks for taking time to have a read of what will be the biggest & most unique challenge we have ever undertaken.
900 MILES cycling around the North Island of New Zealand - one of the worlds most moutainous countries. All in the name of Junior Rugby League!
Myself & good friend Sam Mccluskey will leave our shores on May 2nd arriving in Auckland on the 4th and begin their cycle challenge on Monday 6th starting from and returning to Hamilton in under 12 days averaging 75 miles each day.
Neither of us have any real cycling experience and with only 6 weeks to go when writing this its doubtful this is going to alter much before we land! However what we do have is a love for Rugby League and more specifically R.L in Huddersfield so every penny raised via this page will go directly to junior rugby league clubs Lindley Swifts & Newsome Panthers to help develop the game, get kids active & help them make friends for life as we have been fortunate enough to do over the both our careers.
This trip has been fully self funded with our own money spent on flights, food & spend and nothing will be deducted from whatever amount we raise on here.
Your support whether financial or just through sharing the hell out of this link would be massively appreciated and could be the difference between us hitting our ambitious target.
