"New world", a self published novel

Greetings and hello. I know you had a choice of campaigns on this site so i'm glad for you taking a little time out of your day to check out mine.
My name is Greg and I want to bid you welcome to my little world. Since i was young, I've always known that I wasn't normal. I was constantly writing and creating stories, from a comic book i wrote with my best friend in high school to my first clumsy steps into the world of fanfiction. I knew I wanted to write but what I wanted to write was always a mystery to me.
Then a few years ago, I was watching "Twilight", not by choice, and I saw how vampires and lycans were being protrayed in movies and books. And I thought, "Why do they always look and act like that? Why are they always pretty and ripped? Why don't they look.....like normal people?" That's when it hit me! Why not make the supernatural and the paranormal as common place as a car? That's where the idea for my book came from. To help me find my voice, I read many sci-fi novels in a year's time: Lord of The Rings, Dune, The Hitchhicker's Guide to The Galaxy, Foundation and many many others. Over the last 3 years, I have written over 200 pages of notes, crafting the world and it's inhabitants and rules and creatures. Now I am nearly done. As of writing this, I am nearly to the climax.
And that is where you come in, my friend.
I have the luck to have some people who are willing to edit it for free but i insist on paying for their work. And i have two lovely artists working on the art for it and I would love to pay them more than I am right now. But sadly, I'm not working right now because I've been serving as a caregive for my sick mother for the last 10 years. She suffers from chronic IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and it can be extremely painful.
So if you have stuck with me this long, I hope you are considering donating so I can publish this ambitious book. I want to not only publish on Amazon but also to print out the hardcovers of the book.

"Over 1000 years have passed since a apocalypse brought the world to near destruction. In this new era, vampires, lycans, elves, dwarves and other creatures of legend walk side by side with humans in a whole where science and magic have married into a new field: magi-tek.
In this world, 3 major nations stand as the top super powers: The Grand Vampiric Empire, The Protectorate of Vatican and The Kingdom of Khan.
Lucius Caine is a human freelancer in the Empire, alongside his crew of outsiders: a elven sniper, a dwarf weaponsmith, a fae hacker and a sasquatch brusier. One day, Lucius is given a job by none other than the crowd prince of the empire, Vlad Dracula VI. The job? locate a item that was discovered by his old teacher and find out why it was worth killing for. Now Lucius and his crew find themselves in a massive conspiracy that may threaten the very fabic of the Empire and they are the only ones who can stop it."
