Wheelz for Roy By S.A.F.E.R*
Roy is 32 years old. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of 1. Roy has overcome his condition. He is a college graduate and volunteer firefighter.
Roy graduated from Horry Georgetown Technical College in 2016. He got an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in General Business. Roy was the 2016 Student of the Year and graduated Cum Laude. He was also the recipient of the Alpha Nu Sigma Service and Leadership Award.
Roy is an active member of Myrtle Beach Christian Church. He does the Afternoon Encouragement on Thursdays.
Roy has been a public education volunteer at Myrtle Beach Fire Department since 2005. He has also been a volunteer at Surfside Beach Fire Department since 2013.
Roy is in need of a new wheelchair. He is going to be getting a Permobil power wheelchair/partial stander. Getting this chair will greatly improve Roy’s health and wellness.
Roy Luther always has a smile on his face and gives 110%. It’s our turn now to give back to him. Thank you for the support .
