Saturday, February 7th, 2015, Melina and I shared at the monthly New Wealth Advisors Club meeting about the frivolous lawsuit filed by a few individuals April 2014. 150 people were in attendance. All 150 people signed declarations stating the allegations in the lawsuit were false. This page was set up by the demand of the club. Many people have pledged to help. By the grace of God, we feel confident this lawsuit can be defeated. The financial burden is great but as a whole club, it is manageable. These individuals have lied under the penalty of perjury and are seeking to shut down the club and ruin our lives. Prior to filing the lawsuit they sent a demand for $850,000 within 10 days. If we paid them, they wouldn't sue us. Some of the plaintiffs never paid a single dollar. One of them closed seven real estate deals and made thousands of dollars according to her own testimony and Facebook posts. This is a shakedown for money and their complaint is full of lies. Blatant lies. Made up stories. One of the plaintiffs in her deposition admitted her attorney wrote her responses, yet she signed them under penalty of perjury.

Further, they are claiming this lawsuit is a class action. That is just not possible. We have hundreds of club members that love what the club stands for and they have seven liars. The truth will prevail. Originally they sued Melina, me, NWAC, Boswell Financial, Arcadio, Eric, Oscar, Rebeca, Frank, Cathy, Mike and Myke. Since they have dropped everyone except Melina and I and our two companies.
For nearly a year all the original defendants have bonded together and have been paying the legal bills. To say it hasn’t been a struggle is an understatement. Legal defense is extremely expensive. By the time this case gets through trial it could nearly $200,000. The plaintiffs are not paying for the work being done. Their attorney has taken it on a contingency and thus is going to keep trying to get something out of us to settle. We refuse!
At the club meeting we were blown away. Melina and I were led to tears many times with the support and encouragement from you all. We have battled this lby ourselves for too long. We need your prayers and encouragement to stay the course. We have no intention of quitting. Not today, not tomorrow. We will not settle with them. We won’t be bullied, intimidated or extorted for money as they continue to troll the Internet for plaintiffs. We will continue to fight. We believe this case could cost another $100,000 to get through trial.
We have a few hundred of us. Some can give $2000 or $1000. Some $500 or $250 some can give $100, $50 or $25 – anything is a sacrifice. It is all relative.
