New Providence Book Festival
The New Providence Book Festival is designed to celebrate the books, independent authors and readers of New Jersey. The Festival will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2017 on the grounds of the Salt Box Museum, located at 1350 Springfield Avenue, near the center of New Providence, NJ.
Authors will be available to sign their books, talk with readers and answer any literary questions. In addition, the Salt Box Museum will be open to festival visitors, free of charge. Refreshments will be available on the grounds.
The funding is for signage, advertising and infrastructure to support the festival. Many of these items will be used again for future festivals.
These festivals support quality authors who have been denied access to large corporate publishers because their names aren't Stephen King, James Patterson or JK Rowling. Please support these New Jersey authors in their efforts to find broader audiences, in an age dominated by video games and cartoons.
