New Lungs for Mr. Smith

Hello friends and family! My name is Tyler Smith and I have Cystic Fibrosis. CF is a terminal disease that I was born with. It destroys your lungs, pancreas, inhibits your absorption of nutrients, and can even lead to diabetes. I have lived a relatively normal life playing baseball, going on vacations and hanging out with friends. I am even marrying my high school sweetheart in just a short amount of time here too! In between all of the fun though, CF has found a way to dig a little deeper and disrupt a little more. At 23, I find myself needing a double lung transplant so that I may have a shot at a longer life with the ones that I love and to experience all that life has to offer. 

As you can imagine, a double lung transplant is costly, even if you have insurance. I'm looking to raise funds for the copayments, supplements, and medical equipment that will come along with a new set of lungs. I believe people are generous and I believe in the humanity of helping others. I ask for your help in my quest to "Breathe Easy". I look forward to sharing the news of getting new lungs soon with you and I ask that you pray for the family who gives me the new opportunities!
