New Legs for Bash

Bash Hagelin was born with stiff joints and weak muscles caused by a rare condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC).
Doctors told his parents he may never walk, would not recover, and have difficulty with self-care and feeding.
Nick and Christina decided otherwise and began on a rigorous journey, exploring all modes of healing, and crowd-funding the resources to get Bash the care he needed and acquired cutting edge technologies and innovations to improve his lifestyle and abilities.
Today he is thriving, shocking his teachers, therapists, doctors and even his parents, with his winning attitude and charming smile. He is walking, jumping, hiking and feeding himself. Things that once seemed impossible.
September 2018, Bash had a million dollar leg surgery that would forever changed his life. It took rigorous therapy and just days after surgery, Bash had to start using his new range of motion. This was extremely painful and Bash had to push through and work so hard to keep the new movement Dr David Feldman got during surgery.
October 2018, Bash had to do the surgery all over again on the left leg. It was just as painful but he got through it with help from his friends and family with the support of all his donors. It took about 5 months for him to get back up and walking again. But now he is walking better than ever!
Here's a short film showing how hard we all worked to help Bash get back on his feet and learn how to walk for the 2nd time.
Bash has become an inspiration to the world, showing us all what's possible even when it seems impossible. With a smile on his face, Bash brings laughter and joy everywhere he goes never knowing a stranger.
Honestly, Bash needs more specialized therapy (not covered by insurance) than he is currently getting. So once again we need your help. We need to raise another $25,000 to help with this year's medical expenses. Bills are piling up but we won't let Bash go without what he needs. He has worked so hard to get where he is today.
