New legislation to protect dogs

Donation protected
On March 22, 2018, my 7 year old, 4.7lb teacup poodle (Mercedes)was killed by a 65lb poodle.  This happened while unsupervised, in the care of a local unlicensed pet sitter. Mercedes was not only our family pet but my best friend for 7 precious years. Mercedes was the love of our entire family. She touched the lives of everyone she met.  She lit up a room!

In the state of Massachusetts, licensed childcare providers would never be allowed to leave an infant alone in an environment with known dangers.  Why  should it be any different when we pay and trust someone with our smallest, defenseless pets who do not have the strength or foresite to defend themselves? This horrible incident never should have occurred, but with your help, we can make a change-TOGETHER.  Massachusetts law should dictate that  all dogs be segregated by size.  A 65 pound dog should NEVER Have acccess to a 4 pound dog.

I would appreciate your donation and  support to help develop new laws or regulations.  Hopefully together we will ensure this terrible incident never happens again.
