Hi everyone and welcome to our Go Fund Me project for our new Concept EP - "Beware of Gifts".
We are Neshiima. A 5 piece metal band from Glasgow. This project is to help us fund all aspects of our new release. This set for 28th August 2015.
"Beware of Gifts" is a concept release based on an existing story from Japanese mythology - "Urashima Taro". This tale of god-like beings and their relationships with seemingly mortal beings emphasises key emotions that are apparent in the cycle of human life.
The lyrics and artwork throughout this EP are inspired by the story, which will be visually portrayed in a limited edition comic.
*Each purchase of an EP or Comic will also receive a digital copy of the comic.

Unlike some funding projects, this one does not offer specified incentives for donations. However, we do want to reward our pledgers! Those who know Neshiima will know that we don't take ourselves too seriously... so check out some of the fun incentives below!

Pick any song of your choice for us to cover. We will adapt this to our style, record the song and release as a free digital download. You will be named in the credits for this wonderful creation!
£30 - Release show VIP merch bundle (3 available)
This bundle includes a copy of "Beware of Gifts" CD, digital download code, any T-shirt, a copy of the standard comic and early entry to the release show including soundcheck etc.
£40 - Come to a Neshiima band rehearsal (20 available)
Come along to an evening in the Neshiima batcave. Bring a few beers, sit in on practise, join in and also receive a merch bundle when you leave.
£40- Guest Appearance at a gig! (1 available)
Pick a song of your choice (new or old) to guest on at a gig. This could be vocals or playing an instrument. Be a member of Neshiima for one song.
£45 - Remix a Neshiima song to be release along with a single from "Beware of Gifts" in October 2015. (1 available)
Pick any song (new or old) and remix it. Simple! We will then include this song as a b-side on a single we have planned for a free digital release in October 2015. Subject to band approval.
£50 - Handwritten Lyrics in presentation frame (5 available)
This limited edition collectors item will include handwritten lyrics for the whole "Beware of Gifts" EP, framed and signed by the band. This will also include a merch bundle.
£50 - Dress the band for a gig! (1 available)
Pick a show and pick a theme of outfits for the band to wear onstage. We will source the outfits ourselves with your guidance and approval. So if you fancy seeing what Neshiima would look like dressed up as Power Rangers, this is the one for you!
£75 - Have a member of Neshiima guest on your bands track (1 available)
Pick any member of the band to guest appear on one of your bands track. Whether you want Liam to do guest vocals or Danny to play guest cowbell - we will do it!
£100 - Cover art for your band designed by Liam (5 available)
Liam will design cover art for your bands upcoming release. He will take your ideas on board to design something awesome! To see his previous work, just look at Neshiima 'Distance' and 'Beware of Gifts' artwork.
£150 - Neshiima Acoustic gig (2 available)
Book us to come and perform an acoustic show at a location of your choice. We will perform a mixture of original Neshiima songs and random covers. This is ideal for a party scenario with your mates!
£200- Neshiima full band gig (1 available)
Book us to perform wherever you want! Just supply the standard gig equipment, tell us where and when - we'll be there! UK Only.
£500 - Romantic day and evening with Neshiima
We will wine and dine you at beautiful locations in and around Glasgow including a gorgeous picnic in the park, go karting and beer tasting. The evening will conclude with you choosing which member of the band you have had the most fun with taking you for a candlelit dinner on a boat...
