Nepal Global Medical Relief

My friends, it is time for us to join together and unite with our brothers and sisters around the world and provide relief in whatever way we can to those in need. An enormous earthquake of 7.7 magnitude struck the country of Nepal over in East Asia leaving 1,000s dead or injured and many more homeless. The death toll continues to climb at this time. The historic district of Patan Durbar Square has suffered catastrophic damage and devastation. Dharahara which is also called Bhimsen Tower was also destroyed. Several buildings were destroyed along with the collapse of walls surrounding Nepal's royal palace. The major effects of this gigantic earthquake were felt across Nepal and rippled on into the countries of India, Malaysia, and Bangladesh. Imagine the families who just yesterday saw their loved ones. Husbands said goodbye to their wives, children goodbye to their parents unknowing that it would be the very last time. Put yourself in their shoes. What would you be feeling right now...doubt, anxiety, pain, loss...If that strikes a chord with you, you are not alone in this time of sadness.

There are those of us halfway around the world, 10 or more time zones away, and you might ask yourself what can we do in the face of such horrifying tragedy? This is a natural disaster, way bigger than you or I, what can we do? It's just too big.

Well, united together, WE are bigger than this! While not all of us are able to give of our time because we, too, have families,  jobs, and responsibilities there is something we can do together in this time of great need. You or your family can make a MONUMENTAL DIFFERENCE in the lives of other people with whom you share this world.
