Hi Everyone! I am headed to Nepal for a couple of weeks starting May 12. There is a wonderful group in Kathmandu that works to spay and neuter street dogs called Kathmandu Animal Treatment Centre http://www.katcentre.org.np/index.html
. Fifteen years ago, when I was in Nepal for my semester abroad, poison was used to control the dog population. Now through this amazing program many dogs are being saved and the community is safer and getting involved in their care. Raising funds in US dollars and then withdrawing them through a Nepal ATM is the best way for any donations to make the most impact. I'm hoping you can make a small contribution that will make a big difference in the lives of many dogs living on the streets of Kathmandu. Thank you for your support!
