
Funds for flood victims in Nepal
As members of Nepalese community living abroad, we are deeply saddened by the devastating impact of the floods and landslides in the southern parts of Nepal.
As of 13 August 2017, at least 50 people have lost their lives, and hundreds reported missing after torrential rains triggered floods and landslides in Nepal, according to the leading local and international news media.
There has been a shortage of supplies of medicines, foods and basic amenities across the affected regions. Since we cannot be there to provide support physically, we would like to appeal the community members and broader Nepalese communities residing in Australia to contribute by raising funds or making donations.
