Nelly Chavez Funeral Expenses

My family learned of my sweet sisters passing on Monday Nov 5th, 2018. We are heartbroken, in shock and numb. At this time we are not sure exactly what happened, just that she was found in her apartment in Newhall, California. We will learn more when my mom, Nelly Caballero, flies in from Peru tomorrow. 

Nelly was such a light. She always had a smile on her face and found laughter in everything. She would take the time to listen and was one of the most empathetic people I knew. I've been blessed to learn of all those who loved her. I'm grateful for the pictures that are being sent my way that we wouldn't of had access to. We would appreciate anyone else with pictures of her in happy times to send them to us. My family and I will miss her more than words can say.

Many have reached out and asked how they can help. I never thought of doing the gofundme page, but am thankful for those that have asked for one. The funds are for the cremation expenses, memorial service and last minute international airfare that my parents have to take to get here.

I am driving out to California today to support family and if possible we will do a memorial service at the end of the week, but it will likely be the following week.
