The Harvest for Humanity team has identified deserving women in Haiti to receive the first ever Women in Technology Educational Scholarships. These donations will provide them with the opportunity to reach their dreams.
Neila is inspiring to me primarily because of her selflessness. She is passionate about education, and the main driving force behind her determination to achieve a higher degree is her desire to give back to her community.
The degree that Neila wants to achieve combines social work with hospitality and hotel management. This combination resonates with me, since I've personally spent a lot of time in the hospitality and event management fields and can testify to the fact that my work enables me to create experiences that help others. Balanced with her passion for social work, these study concentrations will absolutely help Neila in her quest to improve the lives of others.
Neila is only one young woman, but she hopes to expand her influence through education and help change the world for many others. How can that kind of optimism and drive not be inspiring? I can only hope to install my own daughter (whose name is similar to Neila's) with a similar passion for making the world a better place for others.
