Need Help Dog Was Shot In Face

.This is our dog Angel... about three years ago we rescued her from an owner who had kept her In a filthy nasty travel carrier for the entire first year of her life, had golf ball sized knots on all 4 elbows, and a skin infection. She has became healthy and has come such a long way while she's been in our hands until this tragedy that took place today. We live deep deep in the middle of the woods; I had put her on her lead but she managed to get loose this morning. She returned about 10 minutes later with a gun shot to the face, it was from a shotgun with a bird shot. A bullet/bullets went through her nose, and tore her entire side of her muzzle off while destroying her jaw, it broke teeth and knocked some completely out and even bounced through her body and were in her legs as well. We immediately took her to the animal hospital which the vets thought they could save her, they come and return and say we need over 6000 all together for them to help her and 3500 of it up front. Unfortunately we didn't have the money and had to make the hard decision to put her down. I also think she wouldn't of had a good quality of life if they were to attempt to fix her. We did everything we could to save her and now my fiance and I are so upset and our kids are going to be devastated; we are left with an almost $1400 vet bill and had to borrow it from someone who desperately needs the money back asap. Being put to sleep, pain meds, stopping the bleeding X rays and etc.. She was such a sweet dog and loved our children to death. It sickens me that people can be so cruel to animals and hunting season with a gun is out of season and illegal now... it's just horrible that someone would do that for no reason. She was wearing so much pink and could of never been mistaken as a deer, especially the fact it was straight in her face.... if anyone could please help donate towards the vet bills it would be a blessing.
