Need help for funeral cost for my dad

I am asking for help to get my dad a portable air concentrator so it will be easier for him when he needs to leave the house.  It is difficult for him to carry the oxygen canisters and it is also not very safe to have in the car.  I would also like to help him get a lift recliner so that he can get up and down more easily and not take the chance of falling.  Unfortunately his insurance will not cover or help with these items.  Honestly this is one of the hardest things that I am doing, knowing that my dad is a very proud man and will probably not be too happy that I am doing this.  If this was up to him he would not be getting these items even though it will make his life so much more comfortable.  Everyone who knows my dad knows that he would give the shirt off of his back if someone needed help, that is what a firefighter does even when they are retired, but he would never ask for it for himself.  My dad has been diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) along with COPD.  COPD is bad enough but PH makes this so much worse as he has the type the is non-curable.  He is on 100% oxygen 24/7 and has a hard time keeping his carbon dioxide levels at a safe level and due to this he has been hospitalized twice since February, and each day it gets a bit harder.  Some of you know the struggles that he has been going through over the last year and if it were up to me more people would have known but he is a private person and I had to honor his wishes.   I just really want to be able to help my dad get these items and I hate the fact that I need to ask for help.  If you have additional questions, please reach out directly to me and I will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.  Thank you in advance, Kathy.
