Kearney Little League has secured the position to represent Nebraska for the 2018 Little League Baseball Central Region Tournament in Indiana, which begins August 5th. This is Kearney's eighth time in the last nine years to win the State Tournament.
Our team is excited to have the opportunity to play at this high level of baseball and VERY proud to represent ALL of Nebraska and its culture of life. As our Governor stated in 2017, "A culture of life. It’s part of what makes Nebraska the best place to live, work, and raise a family. This culture is evident in the way we care for each other and look out for our neighbors".
This is why we are asking for support from ALL of Nebraska to send this team off for representation in the Central Region Tournament, with the possibility of advancing further to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. Donations will go towards tournament expenses, such as travel, lodging, and meals for the team.
