My name is Travis Cakos, I'm an artist.... an artist... That's what I am. It took me forever but I know who I am. I'm an artist.
I'm taking on my lifes dream, to create and understand life through painting. Over the last ten years I've been studying and honing my skills to one day be a professional artist. Years ago it seemed just a far off fantasy with no waight in reality. As time passed and my teachers changed from high school art teachers to college professors and then to real world professionals. Tattooist, comic, sifi -fantasy artists, and fine artist. All my teachers helped a great deal in encouragement and technical application. I owe a lot of my success to them. My main work is in the movie art genre, portraits and memorials. I love this work and always glad to paint new artwork. Now its time to take a leep of faith. I've work hard for this moment. I have the support from my family in this world and in the next. The time has come to take on my dream. My goal is to make it to one large art show or comic con this year. Baby steps but this is one real big one for me. To make it to one big art show would give me the boost not only in promotion and sales. It would set me off on my journey with my head held high in accomplishment.
