Tau Delta Sisters' Funeral Fund

On Saturday October 24th around 7pm, we lost our beloved sorority sisters Akuel Majouk, Yoselin Deleon, and Jennifer Guzman along with Mariana Ramirez (who was a close friend of many sisters). Just south of Beatrice, Nebraska they were traveling south on the highway 77 when they swerved to avoid hitting a deer; the vehicle went into the northbound lane. They were all killed on impact.
We remember them for the joy, laughter and charisma these girls brought with them.
Heaven gained new angels, and we are sending thoughts and prayers to their family and friends.
Unfortunately, there are many expenses that come along with this sudden tragedy and we are not always prepared for them. We, the sisters of the Tau Delta Chapter of SLG, are starting this GoFundMe to raise money for the families of these women to help with funeral expenses and anything else that they might need during this difficult time.

My name is Melyna Avalos, I am a sister from the Tau Delta Chapter at Creighton University. I am also the VP of Marketing and Historian. I myself am from San Diego, California but am currently in Omaha, Nebraska attending school. My relationship to these girls was one in which they were close friends and three of which were my sorority sisters. My sorority (Sigma Lambda Gamma) decided that we should start a GoFundMe in order to raise money to help the families pay for any expenses in regard to funeral services, and for any food and water they might need. Our chapter is located in Omaha, NE and the families of all four girls are also located near the area as well, so our plan is to give the money to them directly.
