Help mans best friend Nellie

My name is Jordan Keiper I live in North Carolina. On Friday February 27th I was taking my dogs teddy a 14 year old toy poodle and Nellie a 9 month old chihuahua to my mothers house for my mother to watch them while I am at work. I work long hours and rather the dogs be with someone rather than being alone. I stepped out of my car and put Teddy in one arm and Nellie in the other. I put Teddy down first and as I went down my sweet Nellie jumped from my arms and fell on Teddy's back and then onto the sidewalk. Nellie started to scream and Cry. My mother and I took Nellie to Ard-Vista animal hospital where they had to sidate her to examine her back right leg which looked badly hurt. Nellie's leg was badly broken she had dislocated the bone from her hock and had torn ligaments in her leg as well. The options I had in front of me were to either put Nellie down which was not an option or Nellie could undergo immediate surgery to repair the damaged leg at Carolina Veternary Specialist. The only problem was the surgeon didn't accept a payment plan and would only accept full payment nellies two hour surgery will end up costing around $4,000 after all the vet visits and check ups. I had no choice but to borrow the money and attempt to pay it back. Nellies surgery went fantastic and I could not be more thankfull to Dr. Steven Cogar and his staff. Nellie is home now and resting but in a lot of pain and after 8-12 weeks in a cast she will hopefully be back to her sweet little self. As I write this story tears are running down my face. It hurts me to know that my sweet dog who sleeps under the covers with me, watches tv with me and is alway a best friend to me is in so much pain. I write this story asking for your help to pay back the bank I borrowed money from. I could not see my little Nellie be killed and wouldn't be able to live with myself if she would have been put down. Please help me pay it back. Nellie and I would be forever thankful. I will be posting updates and pictures of Nellie every day to let everyone know of her progress
