About Nyla...
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Nyla grew up singing with family and friends as well as in the childrens choir of her church. Since the tender age of 5 Nyla has had the opportunity to perform for many different people on a number of different stages. She has acted in plays, sung on national television and is a well known "busker" on the NYC public transit platforms. Nyla is constantly pushing the envelope when it comes to pop music and the way that we percieve it. Taking "bubble gum" songs and giving them soul and often deeper understanding. In her original pieces Nyla gives light to many situations dealt with on a daily basis including Love, loss, cheating and pure fun.
With her cheshire smile and stunning brown eyes she makes fans of many and warms the hearts of her listeners. For 2016 Nyla plans on releasing original songs and performing at more showcases then ever before.
