Special Otter Pool 4 Special Kids!

Nurtured by Nature brings healing and laughter to children suffering from terminal illness or debilitating disease through its one-of-a-kind Otter Swim Encounter. Otter Swims give children and their families the opportunity to swim with Asian Small-Clawed Otters thanks to Nurtured by Nature's
knowledgeable staff and its unique heated-pool facility.


That pool started eight years ago as a temporary, above ground version of what we ultimately want to create... an in-ground, beach entrance, natural pondlike sanctuary!  This will enable us to :

1. Get children with mobilitiy issues into and out of the pool with much greater ease
2.  Have a large, shallow platform that will give these and the smaller children more room to safely sit in the water and play with the otters
3.  Provide a new glass perimeter which will give other guests and family members the opportunity to see the happiness and joy that only swimming with otters can bring!
