Naya’s Vet Bills

Hey everyone!As many of you know (or maybe don’t), this is Naya. She is my precious little three-legged rescue kitty that I adopted back when I was in high school, some odd seven years ago or so. If you’ve ever met Naya, you’d know that she is incredibly loving and very sweet, and she is well-known for her voice, which makes her sound like she smokes a pack a day (to clarify, she doesn’t, as I would not allow any of my children to smoke cigarettes, mind you).Naya was recently taken to the vet due to an ongoing problem with her mouth, where she seems to be overly drooling as well as having extremely bad breath and overall discomfort in her mouth. She hasn’t been eating either, probably due to the fact that eating might hurt for her. The vet was saying that there wasn’t anything visibly wrong with Naya’s teeth, but, because of that, it might be something under the surface that is much more malignant that could potentially be fatal if not looked at through x-rays and fixed.Since this isn’t a surface-level problem, many tests are going to have to be done to determine the issue and to see if anything can be done to help Naya get better. But the costs of these tests are beyond what her mother (aka me) is able to afford at the moment.I am asking for help with these vet bill costs in order to save my sweet baby girl from what could potentially be a very painful existence and from an untimely and preventable death. I love Naya so much, probably more than I love anything else in this world, and anyone who knows me knows that she is very much my best friend and my child. She has been through everything with me that I’ve experienced since I was 16 years old, and I will absolutely do anything that I can to keep her healthy and alive for as long as possible. But finances are rough when you’re a college-aged kid who is trying to pay bills and tuition, and this is something I truly wasn’t expecting to happen, hence, why I am asking for help.I know the inevitable day will come where she passes, and I’d like to think that it won’t happen anytime soon. But when it does, I’d like to be at peace knowing that I did everything in my power to keep her healthy and happy. The estimate for these tests and procedures came to about $970, but I would assume that the costs could go up from there due to medications or boarding fees (if necessary). I don’t expect to achieve this amount, but having any extra help towards this goal would be incredibly appreciated.I’d love to have Naya by my side for many more years to come, but it’s hard to say what they might find that’s wrong with her.
