We are dealing with a tragedy and giving Nathan a final resting place. If you have negative comments please direct them to me in a private message on facebook.
Wow what a handful ignorant judgemental morons! Where it is understandable why some people would be hesitant to give money, do not lose sight of the fact this is a 13 year old victim of his horrific circumstances. This poor has probably lived a horrible life. The suggestion of giving the funds directly to the funeral home is perfect! No cash should touch the father's hands. And to the moron who referenced her kids college tuition, fill out a FAFSA form like the majority of us parents do and be so thankful you don't have to raise the money for YOUR 13 year old's funeral!! And if you can't honor this poor kids memory then stay the F off this page, heartless dirtbags!!!!
To: Shannon Allen and Sadie Madrid. How can you judge when you don't know this family? You both are part of why the world is the way it is. I have pity for the both of you and pray you never have to experience drug addiction or the death of a child or a family member and if you think it can't happen to you...think again. Your insensitivity and disrespect is concerning especially if your parents. To Nathans family...I'm sorry on the behalf of these ignorant people for your loss. Prayers sent.
When I was young and dumb I had no respect for addicts either. I felt they brought it upon themselves. I didn't have any experience at that point. Then my cousin became addicted to heroin. I watched first hand how a tremendous person with inner demons could waste away. He fought it every step of the way, but it had him. Eventually he used cocaine to try to step away from heroin. It was working he had kicked heroin and then was most of the way to kicking cocaine when he got a bad batch. He died on his grandmother's kitchen floor at the age of 27. One good thing came of it. I learned that no matter how much I thought I knew about something that until I had experience with it I knew nothing. I judge no one now. Shannon Allen and Sadie Madrid, hopefully you never have to learn the hard way.
Wow!!! That's about what I have to say for every inconsiderate post! You should be ashamed of yourself. When you give a gift, you give it out of the goodness of your heart. It's not up to you where it goes after that. Things happen in life and people are put in situations that are out of their control. Be respectful! Don't judge! God is the only one to judge......and he will judge you!
