PCSO Deputy Nate Carrigan Fund

This fund is set up to benefit the Nate Carrigan Scholarship Fund for Park County Sheriff Deputy Corporal Nate Carrigan.

On February 24th at about 9:48 this morning Park County Sheriff's uniformed officers were serving a high-risk Writ of Restitution,(eviction notice) in Bailey, Colorado. Corporal Nate Carrigan, who was with Park County for 13 years, was shot and died at the scene, 2 other deputies were also shot and wounded.

Carrigan was a coach at Platte Canyon High School for the baseball team and an assitant coach for the football team. Carrigan went to Platte Canyon High School himself. He was a wrestler when he was in school. Carrigan was not married, but leaves behind a girlfriend and several family members in Park County.
