Hey Everyone!
My name is Natalia Tatola, I am a sophomore in college studying with the goal of pursuing a career in the medical/healthcare field.
I am grateful and excited to announce that I will be traveling to Australia this summer (May 2017) with the International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) (Envision ISLP). I will get the chance to explore Nursing/Healthcare and delve into how the Australian culture and barriers affect their medical force.
This is an opportunity of a lifetime that will highly influence the type of career path I intend to embark on, within the medical field. During the trip, we will be visiting hospitals, and clinics while working on an extensive research project that we will present at the conclusion of the trip. Attached is a brief sampled itinerary of what the beginning of the trip will consist of:
Doesn't this trip sound awesome? The reality, however, is that as a college student, I simply can't afford it on my own. This trip is expensive, but so is the experience I will gain. In addition, this trip will help me stand out from other competitive applications when applying to graduate schools/programs after I complete my undergraduate studies.
