I am planning a trip to Uganda between 18th of August and 1st of September, to volunteer at the local hospital as an advanced (almost qualified) midwifery student. This is my opportunity to learn about international midwifery and to provide support to the most vulnerable mebers of society. I am raising money and donations to bring medical supplies such as sterile gloves, cord cutters, ambu bags and the like to support the local hospital that struggles to provide maternity care in the very low resource setting.
