Narnia; The Magicians Nephew Lego

     
Thanks for taking a moment to check out my GoFundMe page.  My name is Joshua Vennetti and I have been making stop motion animation films for the last 3 years as Plastic Point Productions on my YouTube Channel (Click here to view my channel ). 

Recently two of my films have won awards.  One was the Promising Director Award from the Movie Magic Contest on Bricks in Motion, one of the main Brickfilm websites (Click here to view the prize winners ).  I also placed second on a separate film contest conducted by author Chuck Black based on the book series "Wars of the Realm".  (Click here to view )

As a middle schooler, this hobby has become one of the things I am passionate about.  I have been self taught putting in hour after hour of training in order to get this far.  My parents have supported me in this.  For my next project, I hope to continue to build on my experience by producing my largest film ever.  A stop motion Lego film based on C.S. Lewis' book The Magicians Nephew.  This is my favorite book in the Narnia series.  I plan to film the first half of the book which will be approx. 15-20 mins in length.

I have already invested in a professional level camera and laptop so at this point I am in need of $1,000 in order to purchase professional editing and effects software along with enough Legos to build the necessary sets.  I will also need to purchase several specialty Lego pieces and an additional lens for the camera.  This is the first time I have done anything like this in order to invite others to support my work.
