Nana Mary

My Nana Mary is a fighter. She is strong and courageous. She has cared for so many over the years. But now it is my turn to care for her. I have respected and followed her wishes to be home with family in her final days. Caring for her has been difficult but I am so grateful that I have her with me. Today I have begun to make arrangements for her burial. This is not easy but I know I have to prepare because I know she does not have much time. As hard as that is, it is even harder to admit that I am not financially prepared and need help from family and friends to cover the expenses.

I should have known better then to entrust her care to someone that would steal from her, but at the time I thought I was making the right decision.  All I can do now is care for her love her and do my very best to fullfill the wishes she trusted me to carry out.

I am asking any family and extended family who can, to assist in any way to please do so.  Nana Mary is a kind, caring, generous woman who cared for so many of us.  She never turned anyone away and always welcomed family friends and all that wanted to be part of our lives into her home.  She spent countless hours praying for all those that cared for her and even those that turned their back on her.  Please anything you can offer will assist with the planning and preparations needed to give her the beautiful memorial she is so deserving of.
