Hello Friends, Family, and Readers:
My name is Christina and I have been a member of Honeywell Worship Center for exactly 2 years now. It was the first church I decided to attend after moving from Philadelphia for work-related reasons. I was initially apprehensive about the size and location of the church; but the communal feel, the leadership and the presence of God made it difficult for me to leave this place. Honeywell and its pastors are literally responsible for the growth and commitment I've experienced regarding the things of the Lord. I was going down a very dangerous path, but the pastors and the Word of God that was taught encouraged me to fight for my salvation.
We are trusting the Almighty God to help us move out of our current location at 2024 Honeywell Avenue, Bronx, NY. The location can no longer house its members' potential, our passion for Christ, and our vision.
I have made a covenant with God that I will literally exhaust myself in my home church. I believe in my pastor's vision and, unfortunately, I am frustrated with the dwelling of our church. The building is falling apart and the sidewalks are cracked; and the local community trashes the premises daily. I know because I clean the church weekly.
Neither my pastors nor any church members have called me to start this funding campaign. God has placed it on my heart to dilligently fight for the vision of our church. I am asking that you help me match my pledge of $2000 to my church by Saturday, October 31, 2015. I would like to present $4000 or more by Sunday, November 1st. This isn't much, but it will surely help us move. *So far I have presented my $2000 pledge. Currently awaiting to present any donations.*
