The 24-Paddle against Cancer IDAHO

Cancer sucks. Every person who reads this has in some way or form been affected by it, as it drains the life, energy and hope out of the people and families who are battling it.
Rarely is there anything we as individuals can do to help or give back to those families who have the burden of fighting this bully. But as a community with a common goal and purpose, We can make a difference. And that is where the slogan GO BECAUSE YOU CAN comes into play. Able bodied people getting out there, living life to the fullest, being an inspiration and standing in the gap for those who no longer can.
Last year a team of 6 paddlers out of Seattle, WA paddled for 24 hours to raise funds for families dealing with the chaos of Cancer. A modest goal of $5000 was set, and thanks to the kindness and generosity of the community, they were able to blow past that goal and in the end raised over $7000. Seven envelopes were stuffed, which blessed seven families with a small breath of fresh air.
Fast forward to now - the 24 hr paddle is here again, this time with 7 teams in cities across the US and Canada all with the same goal and purpose...to look cancer in the eye and let it know that we aren't backing down and we are here to fight! Starting Saturday March 26th at 8:00 am, we will be out on the water paddling in force to make that stand.
We will be here in northern Idaho at Lake Coeur d'Alene doing our part and paddling against the beast.
100% of proceeds will go to local families battling cancer.
We truly appreciate all of you who come out to support, cheer on and donate for this amazing cause.
