Injured Saipan Hashers Fund

The Saipan Hash House Harriers is best described as a "drinking club with a running problem." For those in the know, it is a tight-knit family of weirdos who get together once a week to celebrate the outdoors, comraderie and a shared desire to blow off some steam in an environment where the term "political correctness" is unknown (or at least completely disregarded). For those of you who hash...you know. For those of you who don't...go hashing (and Google "Hash House Harriers").
Anyway...on October 24, 2015 the Saipan chapter of the Hash House Harriers had a major accident. While negotiating a particular portion of the weekend's trail, a large portion of a cliff decided to detach itself and obey the law of gravity. Unfortuately, several of the hounds were in the path of a large boulder and were injured. We were very lucky that no one was killed, as this piece of rock (by all accounts) was very large and travelling very fast.
Not so luckily, two of our hounds were injured quite severly and are still in the hospital. I won't discuss their particular medical details, but suffice to say, they both have had, or will require, surgury or surguries and VERY lengthy recouperation periods. The medical bills are piling up, and (without going into detail) this is going to be a huge burden for these two.
So here's the pitch. The Hash is one big, screwed-up family and two of our members are in need. I've started this campaign to gather as much money as we can get to help these guys out. To be clear...I was NOT one of the people injured and this is NOT a campaign for me. This will require a bit of trust on your part that I won't spend the money on beer, but ask around and you'll find that I can be trusted with this type of thing. If you're just not comfortable using this method (or you just can't bring yourself to trust me), but still want to donate, contact me and I'll give you some other names of Saipan Hashers that can take your donations.
We will use this fund for whatever these two guys need. It will include, but not be limited to, medical bills, living expenses, recouperation bills or whatever the hell the two of them need. Decsions about how to spend will be made in our usual anarchistic "try and get a consensus" method. What it boils down to is that this is the modern version of "OK Hashers...throw money in the hat!"
