My friend Sophie

We all joke about our bucket list and what we would put on it. Sadly my friend has recently been diagnosed with a terminal illness. The reality of this bucket list has now gone.

I would like to raise some funds to ensure all the remaining time she has is as stress free as possible.

Any funds we raise will be used to fund some care and expenses. To do some of those "things" that are important and the remainder to live on. Essentially to ease the worries of day to day life, as she will be unable to work as her illness progresses.

Sophie Matthews-Paul  has spent a large portion of her life working and assisting others with technical advice, information, consulting, photography and journalism. Due to many non-disclosure agreements, there are not many people that actually know just how involved she is in digital print and its technologies, aviation and many other fields.


This includes editing industry publications and writing white papers. Sophie is also a photographer and a social media writer.

I met Sophie in a discussion group after the loss of MH370, where we found ourselves spending hour after hour debating, arguing and discussing the latest theories,  etc etc. Within that time we have become great friends, met up on so many occasions, travelled many miles back and forward and had planned to have many more adventures together.


I am reaching out to anyone that knows Sophie either on a personal or professional level, to ask for their help and support at this awful time.

I would be eternally grateful for all and any support you are able to offer.
