Mike Myers passed away October 31st very unexpectedly leaving a beautiful family of two wonderful boys, Garrett and Cody, and a loving wife, Michele, of 26 years. Mike and Michele grew up in Affton, MO and have known each other since Kindergarten. They started dating as sophomores in high school and have been together ever since. They have lived in O’Fallon, MO for 12 years.
Mike loved his boys so much and raised them to be fine young men. He attended all their sporting events including soccer, basketball, baseball and swimming.
The Myers family are members of Waypoint Church in St. Charles, MO where Mike was a Sunday School teacher to adults. They raised their children to know and love God.
Mike was extremely passionate about his work. One of his jobs was to serve as a Guardian ad Litem for the Juvenile Courts in St. Louis County. His dedication for helping children was undeniable. He loved his job but it was very hard at times. Mike was compassionate and truly fought for his clients.
Unfortunately, due to his untimely death, the family was not financially prepared to take on the continued cost of day to day life with only one income and there is no life insurance policy. All funds raised will be used to defray the cost of the funeral and day to day needs. These funds will also assist as the holidays approach. This will be a very trying time for the Myers family.
