This past Memorial Day, my sister, Anna, found herself in a fight for her life. If it weren't for a friend "just stopping by”, whom found her on the bathroom floor, she would’ve bled to death. She was rushed to the hospital and through that first surgery, the doctors discovered cancer.
She is currently fighting Stage 4 grade 3 cancer that has metastasized into her lymph and vascular system, and into other parts of her body. While in the hospital, she had to have extensive emergency surgeries. Since then, she’s been undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and other medications to fight this.
Her husband died unexpectedly last year, which is a whole other story. She has no health insurance and yet is not eligible for the Obamacre subsidy in Georgia. We don't have enough ourselves to carry her through this and the bills continue to pile up.
She’s private and would never ask for help, so I’m asking for her. Anyone who knows my sister, knows she’s a fighter. She believes she can beat this. She’s not giving up. She has been helpful to others, fixing other people’s problems, and has worked hard for most of her life. And plans to continue doing so.
We are humbly asking for donations that will first and foremost go to necessary living expenses (like food, electricity, medicine, etc). Our hope is that she will be able to take a break from the stress of her job and be free to focus on her recovery. All donations will be used to help her on the road to her healing and to cover the costs of fighting this beast and get back on her feet again.
If you pray, please pray for her. She seriously needs to have a break from all stress. . Please find it within yourself to support her. You can contact her for more details but just so you know, she is striving and remaining positive to help beat this monster. So please be respectful of that.

P.S. - If you happen to know our mother, please do NOT tell her anything about this, we have made a decision to keep this information from her. She is elderly and we don’t want her stressed out with any of this. We believe Anna can beat this. So, we’ve decided it’s better to be left unsaid, then to put an old woman through the same stress as the rest of the family.
