Myanmar, the smileland

"Myanmar, the smileland" és un projecte que persegueix el somni de recaptar un fons siginificatiu per poder enviar a una escola del nord de Myanmar, una de les parts més pobres del país. 

Myanmar ha viscut molts anys sota el poder d'una dictadura cruel i repressora. Durant el règim militar només un 1.2% del pressupost anual del país es destinava a l'educació, no s'invertia en material escolar ni tampoc en escoles públiques. El règim militar va acabar el 2010 i a dia d'avui continuen tenint força poder de manera que molts nens i nenes pobres encara no poden anar a l'escola. 

L'objectiu d'aquesta campanya és recollir diners per a comprar llibres, material escolar i ajudar aquest país desconegut amb un petit gra de sorra.

This is a project called "Myanmar, the smileland" trying to get funds to be sent to a school located in the North of Myanmar which is one of the poorest parts of the country. 

Myanmar has been under an inhuman dictatorship for many years. During the military rule only about 1.2%
of their annual budget was spent on education
yearly. They did not even invest in school
material and did not offer many free public
schools. The military rule finished in 2010 and they still have some power in the current government. Today, the poorest are not still able to go to
school in most of the regions.

The goal of this funding campaign is to get enough money to buy books and school material and help with a little grain of sand to this unknown country.
