On July 31 at 9 am, I suffered a LAD Heart Attack. With a 99% blockage. they call this heart attack The Widow Maker. If my mom wouldnt have been home my heart attack woud have taken my life. I am blessed that by 10 am the stent was in place and I was alive.
I am Directing a 5k Race and Fun Run to raise money for the American Heart Assocation for education and awareness for young men and women ages 25-45. As you know putting on a 5k is alot of work and takes alot of sweat, time, & money. Many want to run or walk, but some are unable. At this place you can make a donation for the 5k to be a HUGE success. Make a donation in someones name who you may have lost, or make a donation to save your own heart. Every little bit counts.
This race has my full passion and love surrounding it, almost like its a 3rd child. I want to make a difference, I want to see change, My children now hold great risk of heart disease as I have passed it in my genes. Heart Attacks are the nations #1 Silent Killer, that has to stop.
