My Summer Youth Leadership Program

Hello everyone! My name is Jenai-Tene' Young and I am 13yrs old & in the 8th grade. I am an 'A' Honor student who is a member of the National Junior Honor Society and the Duke University Talent Identification Program. I love reading, drawing, writing, singing, swimming, and acting. I also enjoy serving at Kidworld in my church working with the 3-7yr olds. I volunteer there every Sunday as well as volunteer at my local animal shelter because I want to be a Veterinarian when I grow up. My mom who is not an animal lover like me has sacrificed to come with me because I can't volunteer alone until I am 16.

I would love to attend this years Junior National Youth Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. The tuition is $2,295 and I'm asking for help so I can attend. This will cover my room and board, training, transportation at event, and all meals for 6 days. Please help me go to this event as it will help me build up my confidence more and teach me the skills of being a leader since all my teachers say I have the potential to be one.
