My sister Amelia- Cancer in converse

Donation protected
This is for my beautiful sister, Amelia.
My heart is breaking having to write this but here is Amelia’s story.
My sister was suffering with severe stomach pain a couple of months ago, to cut a long story short she was in and out of hospital having tests to find out why.
The worst day of our lives- 19th December. She was told she had cancer, and they only knew where the secondary cancer was- the ovaries. She had to have more tests done a few weeks later and on Tuesday the 22nd of January, my sister and I went to Ysbyty Gwynedd for her results.

In that hour, I don’t remember much.

All I remember was that we were told the cancer has spread, bad. Ovaries, stomach, bowel and pelvis. And possible the kidney. And the primary source was the stomach.
I remember pacing the room, wretching and sobbing. And my beautiful sister was so brave and positive. She was comforting me, not the other way round. This is the type of queen this girl is.
We were told the worst by the consultant; she only has months left.
No. No way.
As a family, we have been trying to be strong and come to terms with this horrific, bullshit news but its just unbelievable.

So there’s the story..
A few people have messaged me saying why don’t we do a go fund me page to raise money for her. Sod it! Why not?
She has moved in with my mum, and her amazing partner Luke. My mum has had to have the whole bedroom gutted out for her because it was damp.

I want to do as much as I can to raise money to help my sister in any way possible to live her best life as she always has done.
Wether its paying towards her treatment, decking out a sick little bedroom for her and Luke to get away when they need to, or to buy them a car to drive wherever they want when they need to get out the house.
Amelia has just turned 30 at the beginning of January and has finally met her soul mate, this isn’t fair.
She is idolised by everyone that meets her and especially my daughters who are 8 and 5, and I have another princess due in May and she needs to be around to meet her. . She has to be!

Absolutely anything would mean the world to us. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

We will beat this my beautiful girl.

UPDATE:
Amelia has researched, researched and researched. She has questioned her first chemo, and got that changed. After having to approach the board and a second opinion. She is not taking ‘palliative care’ as an option and is on the search for a surgeon who will perform HIPEC surgery. Trials are being offered in Cardiff for something similar called PIPAC, so she finds out if she qualifies in the next few days. Send all your positive vibes. Chemo started today and she is in good spirits and has already made it clear she wants to make friends.
Aftersome heavy research and some private consultations Amelia has appointments lined up in London this week with an apparently rather aggressive oncologist and some other private alternative medicine type dudes. Hopefully the oncologist is going to offer some complementary medicines to take alongside the chemo she’s already been taking. The money is helping fund all these appointments and potential medicines. Cancer is expensive. Thankyou everyone for donating.

P.s Luke proposed to Amelia yesterday ❤️ Obviously, she said YES!!!
