My Father's Voice
From the time I was very little my dad made me feel safe and loved, and I can never repay him for all that he has given me. I started this website to give him, and the rest of the world, some idea just how grateful and proud I am to be his son.
My dad's gentle wisdom has touched thousands of lives already, and through this site I hope to share his message of thoughtfulness and compassion with many more. My intent is to post sermons he recorded about once every two weeks. I will also be adding his newsletter articles to this blog.
For the most part, my basic expenses are pretty low. The hosting and domain costs average out to around $6.00/month. There are some other improvements I would like to make, for instance, better equipment and software for transferring the tapes to mp3 format, transcriptions of the recorded sermons, and the ability to produce CDs and printed versions for people who prefer them. It would also be nice to be able to upgrade to a more modern and engaging template for the site.
While none of these things are terribly expensive, they do add up. Over the next three years, I expect to invest somewhere around $1,000.00 in maintenance and upgrades.
