My car was crushed by a tree

Hey guys, so a little backstory on my dear Ghost Malone aka the Grey Ghost. My grandpa lent me his spare car while he went to Florida for the winter. This car has been with our family since '96, and it was my grandma's before she passed a few years back. This isn't a sob story, but anyways, all he asked I did with the car was "take care of it." I had been treating the car with nothing but love, and even gave it a name. She was a beaut, but as you can see I failed my grandpa's instructions.
If you're wondering what happened, a tree fell on it. The tree was over 100 years old and was very large. The trunk fell directly on the car, and took down power lines with it, which caused a small fire, and seemed to melt the tires. The car was completely destroyed, and we lost my beloved ghosty. This came after some wild Massachusetts weather, with the temperature dropping into the single digits and 5 inches of snow being dropped one day, and 50 degree weather with major wind and rainstorms just a few days later. It was this perfect storm that snapped this behemoth about 20 feet up its trunk and caused it to kill my car.
So far I had been using the car to drive to school, and to drive anywhere without having to borrow my parents' car or something. It made my trips to the gym after school super convenient, and I no longer had to ask my friends for rides everywhere. It was really a great vehicle, and it was only worth a few thousand because it was so old, so I'm only trying to raise what it would have been worth. However, I'm seeking all the help I can get to pay for a new car because insurance did not cover this "act of god," so I've just been left car-less. I'd like to get a car as soon as possible for conveniences' sake, and that would be made possible with your help.
