Highland Secondary's Graduating Class of 2017 is currently raising money for an annual bursary in the name of Charlie Petrie, a beloved classmate who would have graduating alongside us this June. We are honoured to help keep the memory of such a funloving, caring, and cheerful person alive.
In 2014, after a long and courageous fight against cancer, Charlie died at just 15 years old. The bursary will go to future students in the comox valley who have faced or face challenges in their life, in the hopes to help them look forward and overcome.
While we are also fundraising through bottle drives, raffles, and in-school competitions, we greatly appreciate any contributions! Please share this link online, with friends, and with family to help get the word out.
