This Memorial Fund is dedicated to Margaret Vargo of Pittsburgh (Lincoln Place), PA. She was born August 6th, 1923 in Clairton, PA and died peacefully surrounded by her family on December 27th, 2017.
My Grandma was one of the most caring and selfless people I have ever known. She lived a full life of 94 years experiencing everything from the Great Depression of the 1930s, marrying my Grandpap, having and raising four children, experiencing the painful loss of a child, seeing grandchildren born, seeing great-grandchildren born, and many wonderful experiences in between. She loved watching and discussing political news, Hallmark Channel, and working Find-A-Word puzzles each day.
The donations raised from this Memorial Fund will be distributed as follows: 50% going to First Hungarian Reformed Church of Pittsburgh located in Hazelwood area of the city (where she had been a member for over 60 years) & 50% donated in her memory towards her favorite charities (St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Disabled American Veterans, Easter Seals, etc.) *Updated.
