Cory and Kristen are BABY AND KID MAGNETS- it's mystical, magical and unique. Our programs MusicBox, RockBox and more to come are absolutely packed with education, culture, music, art and creativity.Cory and I began this amazing journey teaching mommy and me classes about 5 years ago. It began when Cory stepped into a class that needed someone with that magical spark to bring it to the next level. That person was Cory. By the second year when I joined Cory as his assistant, his talent and charisma grew the class to the point where he exceeded the maximum capacity of the classroom. That summer I was able to see Cory's magical spark 1st hand and even though he is this big guy with broad shoulders and a full beard he was a "baby magnet/kid whisperer" -The kids loved him so much they would line up to give him hugs and (for the ones who can talk) say "thank you!" at the end of class. I was so proud to now be apart of this great thing that inspired these children's' minds through music, art and sensory play. By the 3rd year we now had returning students that were clearly ahead of the curve, new students coming out of their shells and a class so popular we had a waiting list for our waiting list.
Unfortunately, after all our great success, the year after would be our last year teaching that class. The company had to shut down. Cory and I no longer had a class of young hearts and minds to inspire. To make matters worse I now had to leave college and put my pursuit for a certification in music education on hold due to financial reasons.
But Cory and I agreed we were both meant to teach and we where not gong to let these unfortunate events hold us back. So we created our own class!
Now In 2015 things are really taking off!
~Now Cory and I have a baby girl, our little Ani Gabi. Before she was even born (in the belly) Cory and I were applying ALL of the lessons and skills we learned from teaching kids on our daughter. The results are OUTSTANDING. We have a little girl who communicates through sign language, can tell us if she is hungry, tired or thirsty and perhaps most importantly can express her happiness through art, music and dance- all before saying her first words. Of course we had to have her benefit from a class like all the little babies and toddlers before her. The truth is though, Ani is the LATEST baby we have seen like this most certainly not our first. At 15 mos. now her verbal skills are catching up with her hands- it's remarkable!
~Our class works. Our vision Parents and kids learn and bond in a new way through our program. They develop needed fundamentals like: ocular tracking, object permanence, fine/gross motor skills, awareness and appreciation for music and art, language development and self-expression.
With a class running for a little less than 2 months with great success we now need to get the visibility the students deserve so we can get to the next level and have our class available to more people ASAP.
Cory and I are asking you to help us take one small step that will make a huge impact.....

We plan to hold a demo class and discussion in the breakout room so everyone can not only see the magic of the class but can share and discuss past experiences to improve our community. ~Cory teaches at Grace Music School and The Music Academy for Special Learners . He has 2 bachelor's and a master's and teaches: Guitar, Bass, Piano, Drums, Cello, Music Theory/History and Ukulele at various levels in all genres. He specializes in connecting and motivating all people with and without special needs with a respectable track record. He has taught infants, children, college level, adults and even been an Asst. Director of Recreation at a nursing home playing music and entertaining seniors. His experience is diverse and his musicianship is constantly evolving. His passion for educating children is inspirational and ought to be shared.
~Kristen: now a supermom, has experience performing for people of all ages as a vocalist, has studied classical, jazz and rock music from an early age, has taught musicians of all ages and levels, is deeply passionate about teaching and entertaining and absolutely loves little boos.
