Munchinski Family

Scott Munchinski was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.  Scott felt ill recently.  His wife, Dana took him to Latrobe Hospital ER for some testing.  After testing, Scott was quickly sent to a hospital in Pittsburgh for further testing.    For now, Scott will remain in the hospital for at least one month and chemotherapy was started immediately.   After the initial treatments, further plan of action will be determined by the doctors.  

Scott, his wife, Dana and four children, Makayla (17), Madalyn (11), Marissa (9) and Mason (7) will need our support and prayers.   It is our hope that in setting up this page, Scott will not have to be concerned about finances at home or with the costs of his medical care and can focus on staying strong, getting healthy in the hospital.  

Scott is an alumni of Latrobe High School and California University of PA where he also played football.  He grew up playing baseball in Latrobe Little League and later became a coach with his dad and brother.  He continues coaching his own children in the Latrobe area, as well as coaching Pittsburgh Spirit Softball teams.  He and his family are active members at Charter Oak Church in Greensburg, PA.
