Multiple myeloma POEMS ST to LT dis

My name is Dan Avsec and I am fighting cancer (multiple myeloma with an addition of POEMS) for which there is no cure.  After 3 separate incidents of the doctors telling my wife that I won’t be coming back home, they have been able to withdraw the necessary stem cells to successfully perform the stem cell replacement procedure.  Before all that, I want to tell you that I thought I would be so lucky to have worked with you all and I hope you feel the same way. Now, I was as healthy as you can be for this procedure to be a success.  I received a high dosage of chemotherapy that wiped out my entire immune system and left me bald.  Once that completed, my cell count reached 0, they then put the saved blood cells back into body.  On the 3rd day after replacement , I was really sick as the new stem cells latched on.  When my cell count was back to where it needed to be, they sent me home.  I wanted you to understand the process and I also wanted to let you know that I have never worked with  greater group of people.  The Stem Cell replacement went flawlessly and I was able to work again in 2015 & some of 2016, although I had to work from home as I lost the ability to walk without assistance.  Right now I am in short term disability with no ETA to get off. This leads me to a huge favor. I have asked a few people with good success and I hope you will consider this.  Would you consider making a donation to me and my family until we move to long term disability? This isn't giving me anything extra or fancy, but allows us to get by in the near term. We are hoping to collect $1000.00, but anything will help. I am not sure when/if I can pay you back, but that will certainly be on my list.  I normally do not do this, but I am currently stuck in a bad situation.  If you know of anyone else that might be willing to help that would be great.
