Support for the Weidener Family

Emma has very rare metabolic condition called TFP, which stands for trifunctional protein deficiency. It's long chain fatty oxidation disorder. She can't metabolize long chain fats like oils, whole dairy, egg yolks, and breast milk. These are essential fats your body needs for heart, brain, and body function. Her condition can cause lethargy, muscle break down, peripheral neuropathy and cardio myopathy. Emma is currently in critical but stable condition on a heart and lung machine. She is facing an extended stay in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. In tough times like these, her friends wanted to bring together our wonderful community so that we can lend assistance to a family that is always there for others.
