My Partner's Stolen Bike
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my beloved partner in life had his mountain bike stolen on a pit stop on the way back from a biking trip.
We are students who both transferred in from our local community colleges. We don't come from well off families and have to support ourselves through our education. He has been a biker for years and he got me into biking so it was an exciting day when we both saved up enough (he sold his road bike and mountain bike to pay for the new bike. So, he's bikeless) to get matching bikes, the old rentals from Mammoth Mountain.
This has been a major loss for us. It was very difficult for us to save up the money to buy these bikes and for the bike to be stolen after only having them for two months really pains us. We dipped into our savings to buy these bikes so truly any financial assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Anything would be helpful. He is a hard worker and even just seeing the generosity of others I know would alleviate the bitterness we both feel from this loss.
