Rally to the Polls Event!

Women’s March on Jackson: One Year Anniversary

We are approaching the one year anniversary of a phenomenal and historic moment in women’s history, a day we stood together across the globe to support women’s rights in the face of a sexist and misogynistic incoming administration.

Last year, we showed the world that women in Mississippi would support each other to ensure our current civil rights are not eroded, and that we continue to fight for equality for all women.

This year, we build on that support with action and involvement. We want to solidify our support for the women of Mississippi and work to empower women and girls to dream big, work hard, and get involved!

In keeping with that goal, we recognize that encouraging women to run for office will help to balance our representation in our governing bodies. It is important that women not only have a seat and a voice at the table, but that our many voices are represented in numbers consistent with our proportion of society. We are truly stronger together, working towards equality for all, and helping to empower each other and subsequent generations!
